Aval Pota is a fruity, fragrant apple whiskey, made with a base of Edgefield Distillery White Dog Whiskey to which was added pressed Hood River apples, organic brown sugar and cinnamon. But at a relatively light 33 percent ABV, Aval Pota—named for the Welsh and Old Irish words for “apple” and “pot still,” respectively—is still light enough to make a great accompaniment for summer adventures.
