This is a rare rum-cask-matured release from Kavalan, layering rummy fruit and sweetness on top of the Taiwanese distillery’s famously fruity spirit. The combination of a rum cask with Kavalan’s outstanding liquid yield an expression that is packed full of unique flavors that make this a whisky unlike any other. Rum cask bottlings have not previously been released under the Solist line, making this one of the most rare releases to come from Kavalan to date.
