Liqueur: Prunier Pineau des Charentes Red
The land of Charentes is anything but monotonous and the wide range of flavors it exhales is reflected in the different grape varieties. There are two varieties of Pineau: white (more dry) and rosé or red (more fruity). Pineau rosé or red must be aged a minimum of 12 months, including 8 months in oak barrels.
