The awesome Smoke Wagon single barrels are back. Nevada’s H&C Distilling is one of the last places around that is willing to sell us cask strength single barrels with any age. That’s because they got their start early and have kept growth extremely sustainable. There’s not a lot say about the awesome selections coming from their oldest stocks, except that this stuff is hotter than hot. We picked out three barrels from this batch. Each bottled is without chill-filtration at cask strength; a throwback of a bourbon. These whiskies, along with some of the single casks coming out of the Joseph Magnus Distillery, are some of the most exciting single cask whiskies on the market today. Don’t blink or you won’t drink!
